Velcro Sticky Back™ was a highly versatile fastening product designed to provide both functionality and convenience. It was only fitting that this product come packaged in a highly versatile package.
The Challenge
The client approached Visipak with the goal of creating a package that was as versatile as its product. A package that would not only serve as a retail package that could hang on a slat wall or sit on a shelf, but one that would hold the roll in place and act as a dispenser for the life of the roll.
The Solution
Visipak was able to create a multi-functional, trifold clamshell package featuring a base that allowed it to function as a stand-alone package to sit on the store shelf. In addition, at the top, a hanger-hole was included in the design so it could be hung on a merchandising wall.
The added space required to create the triangular base was used to show images of the product in action.
The Result
Visipak was able to create and manufacture this multi-functional package that truly stood out on the retailer's shelf, while providing the end customer with a functional container for the product.
