How to Measure a Box
Seems simple enough, but when it comes down to asking for a quote, it can be a little tricky. Which way is length or height? Depth or width? See how it becomes slightly uncertain? Let's set a VisiPak standard so everyone is on the same page when it comes to requesting a quote.
Three Measurements to Consider:
- Depth = a front to back measurement
- Width = a left to right measurement
- Length = a top to bottom measurement
Tolerances
| Dimensions cannot be produced in increments smaller than 1/32”. |
| Tolerances on all dimensions are +/- .020”. |
| When providing dimensions, please specify inside or outside measurements so the wall thickness can be properly calculated. |
