Traditional blister packs often rely on adhesive to bond plastic directly to printed paperboard.

When the package is opened, the paper tears. The adhesive keeps paper residue attached to the plastic. The materials become harder to separate cleanly for recycling.

Why VisiLock® Is Different

Traditional blister packaging often relies on adhesive to bond the plastic blister directly to the printed paperboard. When the package is opened, the paper can tear away unevenly and leave paper fiber or adhesive residue attached to the plastic. That makes the materials harder to separate cleanly.

VisiLock® (Patent Pending) is designed to solve that issue with a mechanical locking structure instead of adhesive on the plastic. The clear PET blister is held securely between the paperboard panels using engineered notches and locking features, helping maintain the package’s strength and shelf presentation without bonding the plastic to the paper card.

The result is a package that still delivers clear product visibility, strong branding space, and improved tamper resistance, while supporting cleaner separation after opening. Paperboard and plastic are kept separate, giving brands a sustainable alternative to traditional glued blister packaging.
