A tube container is tubular package created by extruding a tube and then affixing a bottom to it. Tube containers are typically sold with a cap, plug or other closure to convert them into a protective packaging solution and storage device.
- What are the disadvantages of tube packaging?

The biggest disadvantage to tube packaging containers is that they do not fold or nest during shipping so freight costs can sometimes be high.
- Is tube packaging sustainable?

Historically, tube packaging was somewhat sustainable, but most clear plast tubes were not made in materials that were widely recycled. VisiPak solved this issue when it developed an innovative molding process that would allow it to use PET, one of the most abundant and easily recycled plastics on the planet.
