Tooling Offer

The world is full of thermoformed packaging options, but at VisiPak we are convinced that if you try us once, you will never need to look for a packaging partner again. To pursuade you, we are providing a special offer on tooling as outlined below.


VisiPak offers many clamshells in stock without any tooling costs and minimum order quantities as low as 200 pieces. We also offer over 30 standard production molds that do not require tooling and minimum order quantities beginning at 6,250 pieces.

In addition, we offer over 30 stock mold bases that allow for customization. For a small tooling investment, typically $1,200, a cavity tool can be designed to utilize one of our stock mold bases. This cavity tool allows a clamshell to be produced to specifically fit your product, which in turn provides you with a truly unique design. Minimums utilizing this option typically fall between 6,250 and 12,500 units.

Under these conditions, the cost of tooling will be rebated 100% when:

• Each individual cavity mold ordered that fits our mold base results in $10,000 or more of invoiced sales in the first year

VisiPak also offers full-service design and production capabilities. Custom projects typically require a full compliment of tooling. Tooling costs for these projects tend to range between $7,500 and $10,000. The tooling offer on custom projects is not to exceed $10,000 in value per mold. The cost of tooling on custom projects will be rebated as outlined below.

• 100% rebate on the cost of tooling when the corresponding mold produced results in $100,000 of invoiced sales in the first year
• 75% rebate on the cost of tooling when the corresponding mold produced results in $75,000 of invoiced sales in the first year
• 50% rebate on the cost of tooling when the corresponding mold produced results in $50,000 of invoiced sales in the first year
• 25% rebate on the cost of tooling when the corresponding mold produced results in $25,000 of invoiced sales in the first year
